I honestly didn't realize I would be able to buy upgrades and I smiled, never know what you'll be fed in a game jam. A very cute game, and I do find myself wanting to complete it!
Done :). The Battery is linked to your HP, killing enemies restores it. I'm Contemplating on whether I should fill it up when entering a boss room or not.

I think adding a battery drain mechanic over time would really help with building tension here
